Professor Coker lecturers at the Lagos State University College of Medicine and also consults at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.

Professor Coker is widely travelled and has more than 90 (ninety) academic publications in local and international scientific journals to his credit. He is an author of 10 personal-development and inspirational books. 
    
He serves his community through, Rotary International, Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) and Medical and Counselling Ministries of the St. Paul’s Church, Breadfruit, Lagos where he is an alto chorister. He is also a Patron of many Church Societies.

He is a socialite of repute and belongs to many social clubs such as Ikoyi Club, Island Club, Yoruba Tennis Club and Abeokuta Sports Club. He loves photography. He enjoys playing Piano, Guitar and Lawn Tennis.

He is happily married to Yinka, a Medical Doctor, Clinical Psychologist and Public and Community Health Consultant. They have two children, Olamide and Mosope.
