As a compassionate, hardworking, and caring person I have always been attracted to courses or
activities that entailed helping people. This can be by giving resources like time, financial, or counselling.
My interest led me to study nursing which then moved me to other areas identified as part of providing
help to the needy in health. I have subsequently moved to leadership and administration because
decisions and policy making can only be influenced when one is on the table. Expanding and gaining
knowledge has helped in better understanding how to achieve positive outcomes when trying to meet
needs of people.
I continue to seek opportunities in humanitarian activities which I believe is for the good of the
citizens. I co-founded an NGO dedicated in helping vulnerable women and children by providing health
care and basic supplies. Annual outreaches are held, and various supplies are given out.
I hope to continue looking for ways to ensure that basic needs are met for the vulnerable.
